Spring Art Clearance Sale

This next week marks one of the most exciting weeks as a teacher--Spring Break! (Falling in behind the first day of school and the first day of summer break, of course.)

Here's some of what I worked on this past week. It was Watercolor Week in 1st hour, so the 2 water-scene landscapes are samples from that class. After two days of landscaping, the students let me know they weren't really digging it, so we switched to a looser, more beginner-level project with the hollyhocks. They turned out amazing.
The canvas is an in-progress painting I'm working on.... Here's another shot in sunlight for your viewing pleasure:

The past two weeks of beautifully warm weather have really made things come out of dormancy on our farm.
I have big plans for making artwork outside, taking advantage of the gorgeous farm surroundings and lovely forecasted spring weather. I noticed during a walk around outside today, that our forsythia bush is in full bloom (or as full as one could be after being ambushed by a few roaming goats a couple of years ago) and our pear trees are budding out.

Unfortunately, our home has so much artwork inside its walls right now--I fear there may not be enough room to add all the pieces I plan on creating this week. This means it's time for a Spring Art Clearance Sale. (It sounds so retail when I say that out loud!)

Every piece I have listed on this site will be available for $3 per linear inch instead of my usual $5.25 per linear inch.

This includes every piece of artwork I have posted in the SHOP section as well as a few others which I'll add sporadically throughout the week.

To purchase any artwork, please e-mail averykasper@homail.com.

Happy Spring Break!
